The Komaia Ritual | 3½ Hours This is not a treatment to squeeze into a busy day. This is the day. The Komaia Ritual is 3½ hours of warmth, water, touch, rest and complete, unhurried care; bringing together some of my favourite rituals and treatments into one long, deeply restorative experience. Your ritual begins with time to warm your body and soften into the experience before moving into the Hammam for steam, traditional Moroccan black soap and a full-body kessa exfoliation, leaving your skin unbelievably soft and smooth. Afterwards, you’ll be wrapped in a warm, fluffy robe and given something we so often miss after a treatment — time. There’s no rushing straight onto the massage table. Instead, you’ll have space to rest, enjoy Moroccan mint tea or another hot drink, fresh fruit or something sweet, and simply allow your body to settle. Then comes (at least) two full hours on the treatment bed. Rather than a series of separate treatments, everything is woven together intuitively into one continuous experience: long, slow, flowing Lomi Lomi full-body massage, a beautiful rose facial, reflexology through the feet, tuning fork calibration and the grounding vibrations of the Thadobati bowl. Nothing rushed. Nothing squeezed in. No watching the clock. Just warmth, beautiful scents, ridiculously soft skin, deeply nurturing touch and the rare luxury of being looked after for hours. A little bit Morocco. A little bit of everything I’ve learned and loved over the years. And a LOT of being thoroughly bloody spoilt. Allow approximately 3½ hours for your Komaia Ritual. Appointments are deliberately limited to protect the time and spaciousness that make this experience what it is. If you acknowledge how much you deserve this time for yourself, you can indulge a little more and add an afternoon tea and Sound bath in the Hush House to your day and even an overnight stay!
