The Komaia Retreat for Two A private day of rest, connection and beautiful treatments, created just for the two of you. Arrive at Komaia at 9am in whatever makes you feel most comfortable – cosy clothes and PJs are absolutely welcome. This is a day where there is nowhere else you need to be. During the morning, you’ll each receive your own deeply restorative 90-minute treatment. Sink into the warmth of the treatment room for a flowing, temple-style Lomi Lomi massage with warmed oils, alongside nurturing facial, scalp and foot work designed to leave your whole body feeling cared for. While one of you is being treated, the other has the Komaia cabin as their own little sanctuary. Curl up with a book, journal, get creative with the craft materials provided, enjoy a cuppa or simply embrace the rare luxury of doing absolutely nothing. There is time between treatments to come back together over tea before swapping places. Once you have both been thoroughly looked after, we’ll serve you a delicious hot lunch or afternoon tea, with plenty of time afterwards to linger, chat, wander, rest and allow your bodies to settle. Your afternoon then moves into the beautiful Hush House, our handcrafted roundhouse nestled within the Komaia grounds. Here you’ll be gently guided through meditation and breathwork before settling down together for an immersive sound bath. There is no rushing you out of the door. Your day will naturally draw to a close at around 3.30pm, hopefully leaving you feeling rested, connected, nourished and wonderfully removed from the outside world. Come as partners, friends, sisters, mother and daughter – or simply two people who could really do with a day away from everything. Your own little Komaia retreat, just for two.
